well...the magazine sent me the cover with the final text on it. Below is the painting I sent them and then what I got back today. It is not exactly what I expected to see but hey thats just part of the game! I am almost done with the Highlights illustrations, it will feel good to mail those off.

A portrait of Hugh Jackman...FINALLY FINISHED. I would not let myself start the final pieces for Highlights until this was done. Now I can put this thing away.

woah I have not posted in a while, I have been pretty busy lately. I did a cover for Las Olas magazine last weekend and I just turned in my sketches to Hightlights magazine about ten minutes ago. Las Olas is a local magazine for fort lauderdale. I believe it will be on the stands in Jan so I will post it then. The Highlights with my illustrations doesnt come out until june, they are on top of their stuff at that magazine.
