These are illustrations I did for the July issue of Boys' Life. The art director was fantastic to work with and I think they did a really nice job with the layout of the pages so I posted that below as well:





Growing up in a house of four girls I definetly never got this magazine. what I do know about it is that Mr. Norman Rockwell was once the art director for it. Now that I think is cool since he was the first illustrator that I fell in love with as a kid looking through my dads old art books.

you're really staying busy with freelance, which i assume is what you want. great example of ambition! are you sending out promos or calling/emailing etc.?

I agree with Sarah, your color pallette is really lovely. You have gotten really good at painting children, and it looks like there is a great market for it - so congratulations!
